Reading Profile
Even though I love to read (I wouldn’t be studying library science if I didn’t!), I currently don’t read for fun as often as I would like to. After I graduate this summer, I am looking forward to getting back in the habit of doing that more often! When reading for personal enjoyment, I tend to focus much more on quality than quantity. By quality I just mean the book’s quality and appeal to me personally. I am someone who tends to want to find the “perfect book” for myself to read at that time, which limits the number of books I read overall and has probably caused me to miss out on reading many great books. However, when I was a kid I used to grab books from every shelf in the library and read many different types of books without much concern for how much I was ultimately going to like the specific book I had chosen.
